Description
A frame constructed of strut and MIRO’s patented bases are used to support duct on flat roofs. Unique design allows a sturdy support without penetrating or causing damage to the roof membrane. The 6-DSA are manufactured in a 12 gauge telescoping design for maximum adjustability in length and height. The duct support base is made of stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, polycarbonate plastic and all other metal parts are made of hot-dip galvanized.
Base Material: |
Polycarbonate, Galvanized Steel or Stainless Steel |
Size: |
Base footprint is 9″ x 15.25″ polycarbonate or 8″ x 14″ stainless steel or hot dip galvanized. Can adjust in height to support duct from a low of 10″ to a high of 24″ in elevation above the roof membrane. Can adjust in width from a minimum width of 18″ to 24″ between strut assembly. |
Max Pipe Size: |
|
Max Pipe Clearance: |
|
Max Load Weight: |
The 6-DSA series support is engineered to ensure member/component capacities and deflection criteria are not exceeded. Maximum loading from any MIRO base to the finished roof surface is not to exceed 2.0 psi unless specifically allowed otherwise in the project specifications. Deflection in the horizontal header bar is not to exceed the span length divided by 360 or 1/8”. |
Spacing: |
Manufacturer’s recommended spacing is not to exceed 8 foot centers depending upon the load. Do not exceed load weight. |
